How to Check BOI Account Balance?

Bank of India provides various services like Personal Loans, Savings accounts, Home Loans, Fixed and Recurring Deposits, and many more. From account opening to funds transfer, the bank assists its customers in carrying out banking with the help of Mobile, SMS, and net banking. One of its services is the Balance Check Service for which it provides many different methods. In this article, we will be learning about how to check the Bank of India Savings account balance using the Bank of India Balance Check Number and various other methods.

  1. BOI Balance Check via Missed Call Banking: 

With the help of a toll-free number, customers can check their account balances. To avail of this service customers are required to get their mobile numbers registered with the bank. The Bank of India toll-free number is +9015135135.

  1. BOI Balance Check via Internet Banking: 

Mentioned below are the steps to check BOI account balance via Internet Banking:

Step 1: Open the official website of BOI i.e. https://bankofindia.co.in/.

Step 2: Login using BOI internet banking User ID and password.

Step 3: Click on the “View Account Details” tab.

Step 4: Select “Check Account Balance”.

Step 5: The account balance will then be displayed on the screen.

  1. BOI Balance Check via Mobile Banking: 

Mentioned below are the steps to check the BOI account balance via Mobile Banking:

Step 1: The 3 main apps launched by BOI for mobile banking are BOI BTM, BOI StarToken, and BOI StarGlobal.

Step 2: Open any of the 3 apps on your mobile phone.

Step 3: Login using your registered mobile number and MPIN.

Step 4: Click on the ‘My Accounts” option.

Step 5: Now click on “View Account Balance”.

Step 6: Click on “View Account Balance”. 

Step 7: The account balance will then be displayed on the screen.

How to check the account balance via BOI BTM?

  • Customers can download the mobile app on their Android or IOS devices to avail of mobile banking facilities.
  • Log in using credentials, after which the customers can explore plenty of services sitting at home with mobile phones only. 
  • Users can avail of Balance Enquiry, Account Statement Check, Funds Transfer, etc.
  • Customers of BOI who have accounts in overseas branches can use the BOI StarGlobal app to avail of the above-mentioned services.

How to check the account balance via BOI StarToken?

  • Users are required to download the Android app BOI StarToken to carry out banking transactions.
  • The services that can be availed using this app are funds transfer, mobile recharge, balance inquiry, checking the last 5 transactions, getting a mini statement, etc.
  • Also, facilities like NEFT, IMPS, etc. can be availed of using this service.
  1. BOI Balance Check via SMS Banking: 

Firstly, customers should activate SMS banking using the below-mentioned steps:

Step 1: Open the official website of BOI i.e. https://bankofindia.co.in/.

Step 2: Click on the mobile banking link.

Step 3: Select the “Star Connect mobile Banking” option.

Step 4: Login utilizing the BOI Net Banking or Mobile Banking credentials.

Step 5: Enter the registered mobile number. 

Step 6: Click on “Set” or “Change” SMS Password.

Step 7: Create a 4-digit password to get the services activated.

For Primary Account Users:

Send ‘BALANCE<4-digit Password>’ to +919810558585 from the registered phone number.

For Non-Primary Account Users:

Send a message – ‘BALANCE<4-digit Password><Account Number>’ to +919810558585 from the registered phone number.

To get BOI Mini Statement via SMS Banking, send an SMS in below mentioned format:

For Primary Account Users:

Send a message – ‘TRANS <4-digit Password>’ to +919810558585.

For Non-Primary Account Users:

Send a message – ‘TRANS<4-digit Password><Account Number>’ to +919810558585 from the registered phone number.

  1. BOI Balance Check via Passbook Updating: 

The Bank of India Passbook is issued to the customers at the time of opening of a bank account. A passbook tracks the record of both debit and credit transactions and helps in checking the bank account balance. Customers are required to visit the nearest branch to get the passbook updated. 

How to get mPassbook?

Step 1: Enable BOI Mobile banking on your phone.

Step 2: Install the mobile banking app either from Google Play or Apple App Store.

Step 3: Now click on mPassbook.

Step 4: Enter the account number.

Step 5: Select the date range as Last month, last 6 months, or last year option to get the account details.

Step 6: Transaction details can now be viewed for the selected period on the screen. 

  1. BOI Balance Check by visiting ATM: 

Mentioned below are the steps to check the Bank of India savings account balance by visiting the ATM:

Step 1: Visit any nearest ATM.

Step 2: Insert the ATM card into the machine.

Step 3: Enter the 4-digit ATM PIN.

Step 4: Select the option “Balance Check”. 

Step 5: The account balance will then be displayed on the screen and a receipt will also be generated. 

  1. BOI Balance Check via UPI: 

Mentioned below are the steps to check the account balance via UPI:

Step 1: Open any UPI app on the smartphone.

Step 2: Enter the passcode set to unlock the app.

Step 3: Click on the “Account Details” tab.

Step 4: Now, click on Check Account Balance”.

Step 5: Choose the bank account for which the balance is to be checked.

Step 6: Enter the UPI PIN.

Step 7: The account balance will then be displayed on the screen.

  1. BOI Balance Check via Missed Call Banking: 

Customers can check their account balance by giving just a missed call once they get their mobile numbers registered with the bank. After registration, customers are required to give a missed call on 9266135135. An SMS would then be received containing the bank account balance.
